A Prisoner in its World is a poem by a crow in the Animal Union about how humans destroy nature.

A Prisoner in its WorldEdit

Black Bird

I am in a tree

A prisoner in my own world

I remember the days of freedom

Flying through the air

Part of a murder

No restrictions

I used to be free

Now they're here

Their monstrous vehicles

I must hide from them

They will hunt me

I can't fly without going

Through clouds

Of smoke an soot

Not even the wind is free

I spread my wings

I am flying over

Their buildings

I will no longer be the hunted

I will, one day hunt them

All of us will

I will, all of us will

See the end

And others won't see crows as worthless

I will be free again.
